A Presentation of the Results of the Archaeological Dig

“In Search of the Monastery of Deir”

Will be held in the Kemp Hall Old Deer on Saturday 28th April 2012 at 2.30 p.m.

Doors open 1.00 p.m. Talk starts 2.30p.m.   

Refreshments available.

We are looking for any objects you may have found in the area, anecdotes, stories, photographs or local knowledge of the monastery or the history- or even prehistory- of Old Deer. Please come along and share with us.

The A.G.M.s of the Book of Deer Project and the Friends of the Book of Deer

will be held on Saturday, 23rd June in Stuartfield Hall at 2.00 for 2.30pm.

After the business meeting our guest speaker will be the 

Reverend Sheila Kirk B.A., L.L.B., BD., Minister of Deer .

“How a Lawyer looks at the Book of Deer”.

All will be welcome and refreshments will be provided.
